I'm living again, awake and alive
I'm dying to breathe in these abundant skies

Teagan was definitely different from most teenage girls, but she was one that was ok with herself for being different. She didn't feel ostracized or embarassed in anyway for not being a typical teenager, but there were definitely days when she wished she were just a little bit more 'normal' so that she would have more friends than she did. Teagan was definitely more bitter, sadistic, and guarded than the bubbly, popular, happy-go-lucky girls you found at any average high school, and she definitely carried around more skeletons in her closet than any of the girls around town. If anyone had a right to be a mopey pregnant dog for most of their life, Teagan was the girl that had that right. She had been through more things in her nineteen years than any person should ever go through in their entire life. While she was a more moody person than most teens, she was definitely a fighter and was stronger than most people she knew. After all the things she had been through, if she were any weaker than she was she probably wouldn't survive. Teagan had survived her parent's constant fighting, the years that they tried to stay together for her sake, all the while continually fighting with each other, she had survived having to deal with the idea of knowing that her own father killed her mother while claiming that it was an accident, and over the past three years she had to live with the fear that her father who had fled the country could be coming back to avenge her mother's death at any moment.
Teagan had always been into the vintage music of the 60's, 70's, and 80's and also enjoyed alternative bands. Most of her music was still on records, and she loved dark colors like black and red. Her typical style was a pair of converses, jeans, and a band tee, and skinny jeans. She drew alot, though her artwork was often considered morbid or twisted. To top it all off, Teagan had been using drugs since she was 17 and had been carrying around an even bigger and deeper secret since that time. This one secret was the one thing that even her best friend was clueless about, and something that teagan wasn't planning on telling anytime soon. She too enjoyed the cold weather more than most people, so after spending the last few days cooped up in her room working on her artwork, Teagan decided to head to the park and meet up with her close friend, Andi. Teagan flopped off her bed and pulled on a typical Teagan outfit, then added on a warmer jacket and some gloves. Once she was ready, she grabbed her purse, keys, and cell phone and hopped in her 1965 Comet. After pulling out of the driveway, Teagers soon found herself at the park in less than ten minutes. After she had parked, Teagan pulled out her drawing pad and then made her way to the bench where she sat down to work some more on her artwork.
